I totally forgot I had this pic. So hopefully my fellow gleeks recognize this cutie, Mr. Darren Criss ( he had a serious, SERIOUS head full of curls lol). I had a German class with him at Michigan, and we got partnered up for a project for class. Super sweet guy,…

Summary: Kurt and Rachel always knew they’d make it in New York together. They just didn’t realise that Kurt would make it first. Kurt/Blaine and background Rachel/Jesse St. James
Notes: I know next to nothing about how Broadway is set up therefore I made the rehearsal process very long because I could. This is a very optimistic view of what could happen in the future. My biggest OTP is Kurt/success so when I saw the prompt ‘Kurt and Blaine in NY’ my mind immediately went to ‘Kurt winning at life with Blaine in New York’. Big thanks to devonwood and wallelf for betaing for me. The musical Psychotic is something I made up but next to normal isn’t mine nor is Rent or Gypsy. Anyway, I hope you enjoy!
3x22 Fix-It fic. Because it had to be done. Kurt, Burt, Kurt/Blaine, 850w.
Burt has a surprise for Kurt, but he’s not sure it’ll go over as well as his graduation present did. It’s been two days since Kurt opened an innocuous envelope and watched his dreams crumble into nothing in front of his eyes. It’s been the worst two days of his life.
He’s tried, so hard, to be happy for Rachel. They’re friends now; she’s pretty much his best friend, and deep down he wants to be the kind of person that can see his best friend achieve their mutual dream where he didn’t and not let it be ruined by bitterness, but he’s just not sure he is. It hurts too much. Every time he closes his eyes, he sees “we regret to inform you,” and no amount of cuddling and reassurances from Blaine has dulled that ache.
Kurt suspects that Blaine told his father about the letter. Kurt just couldn’t bring himself to do it, to make that disappointment fill his wonderful dad’s face when the memory of how proud he’d been that Kurt was a finalist was still too fresh in his memory.
Burt had just given him a hug when he came down to dinner that night and told him that everything would work out. Kurt hadn’t had it in him to ask “how?”
So when his dad calls him into the kitchen after school, he’s just hoping it’s not to have a talk about what comes next.
Kurt spends his summer in three places.
He spends it in Lima, watching the hot summer grass grow, trading sweet kisses with Blaine in the privacy of his own backyard. He cooks with Carole, indulging in cakes and sweets and the joy of once again having a mother. He runs with Finn, helping him lose those last few pounds he needs before basic training in the fall.
He applies everywhere in New York. Every school still accepting applications. Every internship. Everything he can get his hands on.
He breathes.
He waits.
I mean this is like Merlin all over again
So many people will stop watching because the writers fucked up big time
